Last weekend my husband and I were particularly stuck for something to pass the time, particularly as the weather is still cold and not really a great for spending time in the garden etc. So we decided to to have a run out to a brand new retail center which has recently opened up and is approximately six miles away from where we live. It didn’t take very long to get there as there was not much traffic on the road and we left home fairly early in the morning.
On arrival we decided to have something to eat and drink in the coffee shop and I really enjoyed the piece of naughty cake that I had there!
We then went for a wander round the center and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they had an Art and Craft department which was jammed full of all sorts of crafting goodies. I spent a good couple of hours browsing their considerable inventory and end up buying three packs of very nice card blanks which came with matching envelopes.
I was extremely pleased with the quality of the card and also very impressed with the competitive prices and great service that I received from the staff person that served me.
That evening, after arriving back home, I was able to make up a whole batch of birthday greeting cards for several of my friends and relatives who have birthdays coming up in the next few weeks and months.
I was really pleased that we decided to try out the retail center and we have already made arrangements to re-visit in the next few days.
